In Siniša Labrović’s performances, actions and installation, he comments on social and political injustice, using the tools of irony, absurd interventions and radical gestures. His work can be seen in collections worldwide, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik and Rijeka. He exhibited, among many others, at the Istanbul Biennale, at Serbia's most important contemporary art exhibition in Čačak and represented Croatia at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale. His work ranges from serious to playful, pointed to ironic. He is concerned with the fetishisation of history as a tool of nationalist narratives and propaganda.
